Rajedes Burundi, with its slogan of creating employability for young individuals, organized a remarkable event on Monday, January 29, 2024. The event involved the distribution of 20 sewing machines to the youth who had the opportunity to learn sewing skills at the Magarama training center. This praiseworthy initiative was highlighted by the presence of the RAJEDES coordinator, Pastor BIMAZUBUTE Mukasa, at the Pentecostal Church of Magarama in the Gitega province.

The young beneficiaries eagerly awaited the sewing machines, as they aimed to create their own employment opportunities. By utilizing these machines, they would have the advantage of meeting their personal and financial needs. Each individual will have the means to repay the cost of the machines in the coming months. The objective of the Magarama training center is to provide sewing lessons, while Rajedes Association took charge of distributing those sewing machines.

"The Magarama center expresses gratitude to Rajedes Association. We have had a long period of theoretical lessons without practical experience. Rajedes Association manifested itself at the right moment. We thank God, the members of Rajedes, and all the benefactors," stated the Pastor of the Pentecostal Church of Magarama.

The coordinator of Rajedes Association also highlighted that after a few months, these youth would benefit from being able to confidently start their own sewing workshops, with the support and resources to acquire basic tools such as fabrics. "We aim for your financial development to be accompanied by sincere prayers," emphasized Nibogora Donatien, the coordinator of Rajedes Burundi.

Ndabacekure Ester, one of the beneficiaries of these sewing machines, expressed her gratitude for Rajedes' support: "I encourage others to take advantage of these training opportunities for their own development."
