In the presence of the Great Lakes Outreach (GLO) delegation, the 22nd of February 2023 marked the momentous occasion of the certificate distribution ceremony for the 10th graduate of the Twese Mwiterambere sewing training program.

Since the inception of the Twese Mwiterambere Training Center, a total of 115 students have successfully graduated from the program. During the ceremony, the trainer, Ndayisenga Gilbert, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and encouraged them not to rest on their laurels but to strive for further expertise in the field of sewing. He also appealed to the GLO delegation to support the training center.

On behalf of the students, Glorieuse, a certified graduate, expressed gratitude for the support and efforts of the Rajedes Burundi association and requested continued assistance, particularly in the form of sewing machines, to accompany them in their journey as aspiring entrepreneurs, enabling them to establish their own workshops.

It is worth mentioning that, in addition to sewing training, the training center has undertaken various projects, such as the production of bags for sale, the Dorcas project, which involving the creation of maternity dresses for pregnant women, and the "ijambo" project focusing on the manufacturing of sanitary hygiene products for young girls.
